October 4, 2007 — US Airways announced today that it had signed purchase agreements for an order of 92 new aircraft from Airbus S.A.S. The order includes 22 A350 XWBs, 10 A330-200s and 60 A320 Family aircraft. Today’s announcement marks the successful conclusion of the negotiation for the Airbus order announced at the Paris Air Show in June 2007. Aero Law Group acted as outside counsel to US Airways in the transaction.

Delivery of the A350 XWBs is scheduled to begin in 2014, making US Airways the first North American customer for the fleet type. Delivery of the A330s will start in 2009 and delivery of the A320 Family aircraft will run from 2008 to 2012.
