December 5th, 2006 — Nakash Group of America announced an order of two 787 Dreamliner jets. The planes will be the first 787 aircraft to join the Arkia Israeli Airlines fleet. Deliveries of the aircraft are scheduled for 2012.

Aero Law Group served as outside counsel to Nakash in this transaction.

“Aero Law Group is excited to be at the forefront of these noteworthy and innovative transactions. Our commercial clients continue to expand their fleets through acquisition of the newest aircraft models, to be produced by the major manufacturers of commercial airliners, such as Boeing, Airbus and Embraer” said John Schmidt attorney for Aero Law Group, who leads its commercial practice. “Acquisition agreements for aircraft that are still on the drawing board — and that won’t deliver until the next decade — provide some interesting issues to negotiate. Fortunately, the Aero Law Group continues to grow along with our clients, and we are well positioned to tackle these challenges, regardless of whether the aircraft will be used in executive or commercial service.”

This is Aero Law Group’s fourth transaction involving the new 787 Dreamliner.
